Accessibility Audit Service ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our accessibility audit service (the "Service").
When you purchase an audit, we collect:
When you visit our website, we collect standard web analytics data: browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, page interaction data (clicks, scrolls), and IP address (anonymized). We use no cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not use third-party analytics services that share data with advertisers.
When we scan your website URL, we access only publicly accessible pages. We do not bypass authentication, crawl private content, submit forms, or store your page content beyond what is necessary to produce the report.
We use the collected information solely to: process your payment (via Stripe), perform the requested audit, deliver your report by email, provide customer support, improve our scanning engine (aggregated, anonymized data only), and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
| Data Type | Retention Period |

| Audit reports | 90 days after delivery, then permanently deleted |
| Email correspondence | 12 months after last contact |
| Payment records | Retained by Stripe per their own policy |
| Website analytics | 26 months (anonymized aggregate) |
You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@ericjoye.com.

All connections are encrypted via TLS 1.3. Audit reports are stored encrypted at rest. Access to customer data is restricted to the service operator only. Payment data never touches our servers — it goes directly to Stripe.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, or port your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@ericjoye.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have additional rights regarding their personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Our legal basis for processing your data is performance of a contract (providing the audit service you purchased) and legitimate interest (improving our service). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email notification.
